You are receiving this email from Dr. Christina Chambreau because you are passionately committed to having health for your animals, yourself and the planet or because a friend thought you wanted to hear this information.
In the last Update I spoke about supplements and how they may be needed for life (Calcium if you are not feeding bones with your raw or cooked meat diet) or as a temporary help,
even with something as basic as probiotics, or a joint supplement, while you are building vitality and balance.
In the introduction to homeopathy for animals class on May 4 & 5 ( the in person class is probably full - you'll miss Amy's great cooking and there are still spots in the live streaming) you will learn how to use homeopathic principles to evaluate any treatments and life style changes you try.
Click here for all the details. And click here for you tube clips from last year's class. Email me with any questions.
Giving one of the Awesome 4 As for acute problems like diarrhea, seizures, fear, to prevent infections (and more) will be covered in the class. A bit in brief here.
Aconite, Apis, Arnica and Arsenicum are often indicated for acute problems and you may not have to take your pet to the vet for any more treatment.
As with supplements, you want to look at the context of the acute issue.
They can be clues you need to improve health a bit.
For instance, Aconite is great for any condition (sniffles, diarrhea, vomiting, hiding) brought on by a shock or panic. It can also be given if you know your dog or cat was exposed to a LOT of sick animals
(like at play times or grooming).
If your pet is super healthy you may not need any treatment. Giving a homeopathic medicine a few times will not harm your pet, so if you are worried, please give it.
One Holistic Actions member's dog started severe seizures after being scared by the other dog. In the forum we suggested giving Aconite 30c for a few doses while the diagnostic tests were being
done.
She did not have any and wanted to know were to get it. I do suggest you have a few remedies on hand in your emergency kit (you can buy one on amazon or purchase them at a health food store.
Apis is made from one bee (which makes gallons of homeopathic medicines). When you purchase the globules of any homeopathic medicine
they have been energized so you can put one pellet in a little water and give a few drops of the water.
Think of how a bee sting looks - red, swollen, hot, painful and shiny. If your pet is bit by a bee, or comes in with a welt like this for any reason - try Apis
Arnica is so commonly used I will merely mention to try for any trauma, especially blunt and bruising, especially when your pet is so painful they do not want to be touched.
For diarrhea, Arsenicum album often is needed, especially if the stool is very offensive, maybe dark blood. Any discharge (eye, nose, vulva, penis, mouth) that is very stinky will have you think of this medicine.
Arsenicum animals have become chilly, thirsty, restless, anxious and fastidious. your pet does not need to have all of these.

I am doing Pet Health Coaching phone calls. It stopped being mobile friendly website - am working on it.
